Ways to make money as a beekeeper

Beekeeping is not only a fascinating hobby, but it can also be a profitable business venture. One of the many benefits of raising bees is the variety of products that can be harvested from the hive and sold for a profit.

From honey and beeswax to propolis and royal jelly, there are many products that can be sold to consumers who are interested in natural and sustainable products.

Byproducts From Your Hive:

Other Income Generating Ideas for the Beekeeper:

Here are some other ideas I can think of. I will add more to the list whenever I think of them!

  1. Teaching classes and/or starting a Youtube
  2. Rent out your hive/colony for pollination services
  3. Maintain other people’s hives
  4. Removing bees from unwanted places
  5. Make candles, soaps, etc from your byproducts (I have recipes!)
  6. Selling splits/Nucs
  7. Making beehives
  8. Selling beekeeping equipment and supplies
